A Story of Intentional Excellence

Our Kindergarten scholars have achieved remarkable results that place them significantly above national averages, with performance categorized as "High" achievement in Mathematics (81st percentile) and "High Average" achievement in Reading (70th percentile) according to NWEA classification standards. These rankings mean our students are outperforming approximately 70-81% of kindergarteners nationwide—a testament to their hard work and our commitment to educational excellence.

Importantly, these results reflect NWEA's most current 2025 national benchmarks, which account for post-pandemic shifts in student performance nationwide. This makes our scholars' achievements even more meaningful, as they are being compared against today's actual student performance landscape, not outdated pre-pandemic norms.

These outstanding outcomes are not accidental. They represent the direct impact of strategic improvements implemented through our School Improvement Plan. By prioritizing evidence-based interventions and targeted support, we've created an environment where every scholar can thrive.

Key School Improvement Initiatives Driving Success:

  • Enhanced Placement Testing: Refined assessment protocols ensure each scholar receives instruction precisely matched to their developmental level, maximizing growth potential from day one
  • Specialized Instruction Model: Dedicated reading and mathematics specialists provide targeted, expert-led instruction that addresses individual learning needs and accelerates achievement

As we celebrate this achievement, we recognize it as a foundation for continued growth. Our scholars have demonstrated that with the right support, strategic interventions, and dedicated educators, exceptional results are not just possible—they're inevitable. We remain committed to building on this momentum to ensure every kindergarten scholar reaches their fullest potential.
